How the pricing model works
Hardware is a one-time purchase. The monthly software fee covers vision monitoring, the dashboard, alerts, and software updates. There is no transaction fee or revenue share component at any tier.
Cook-e is in early access. Pricing is fixed per the tiers above. Operator-tier contracts are negotiated directly with the Cook-e team and include a scoping call to confirm installation requirements and integration with existing POS systems.
VAT is applicable at the rate applicable to your jurisdiction. Hardware is dispatched from our fulfilment partner in France. Installation is the operator's responsibility for Unit tier, and includes onsite assistance at Location and Operator tiers.
Frequently asked questions
The hardware price covers the Cook-e cabinet unit including the vision module, heating element, internal tray structure, connectivity hardware, and power supply unit. Delivery to a French mainland address is included. Installation materials (mounting brackets if counter-mounted) are included; installation labour is included at Location and Operator tiers only.
The monthly fee covers: access to the Cook-e dashboard, the vision monitoring service running on our cloud infrastructure, SMS and push alert delivery, shift-log CSV export, food-type profile updates, and all software updates to the cabinet firmware. There are no usage-based components inside the monthly fee.
Unit and Location tier software subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days notice. The hardware is yours to keep. Operator tier contracts include a negotiated minimum term, typically 12 months, discussed during scoping.
Yes. A Unit subscription can be upgraded to Location tier when you add a second cabinet. Location pricing applies from the first cabinet at that point. Adding cabinets beyond 5 transitions the account to Operator tier pricing, which requires a brief scoping call to confirm volume and integration requirements.
The cabinet includes a 12-month hardware warranty covering the vision module and heating element. Remote diagnostics are available to the Cook-e team via the dashboard. Hardware faults confirmed remotely trigger a replacement unit dispatch under warranty. Location and Operator tiers include a defined response SLA.
POS integration via API is available at Operator tier. At Unit and Location tiers, Cook-e operates as a standalone monitoring system with no POS dependency. The dashboard and alerts work independently of point-of-sale infrastructure.
